Indigenous communities across the country have known for decades what many Canadians are only now coming to realize. The unfolding trauma that is coming to light cannot be measured or addressed by our thoughts, words or payers alone.
We are privileged to work alongside many Indigenous friends, coworkers, and industry partners, and while we cannot know the full depth of your grief, we hold space for your pain, are listening to your heart wrenching experiences, and are working to amplify and take action on your recommendations.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada has determined 94 Calls-To-Action. For non-Indigenous peoples it is our responsibility to familiarize ourselves with the TRC report and take individual and collective action to ensure all Calls-To-Action are followed and implemented www.trc.ca.
